1. Our Philosophy

We endeavor to encourage, engage, motivate and inspire young people and professionals to reach their highest potential in Netball. We aim to achieve these standards through employing the best coaches and support teams, to deliver a world class programme.

2. Child Protection

Child protection is of paramount importance to us. All staff are Disclosure and Barring Service vetted. All participants are expected to sign in and out at the beginning and end of the session. Lets Play Netball follows the practice guidelines of England Netball Association who have developed a Safeguarding and Protecting Young People in Netball Policy, and the Procedures and Guidelines applies to all individuals involved, paid or in a voluntary capacity.

3. Anti-Discrimination and Equal Opportunities

Lets play Netball adheres to the view that Netball should be enjoyed by everyone equally, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, race, nationality, ethnic origin, colour, religion or ability.

4. Insurance

All participants and staff are covered by Public Liability Insurance whilst on LetsPlayNetball camps. However LetsPlayNetball cannot be held responsible for any act, omission or loss or damage unless proven to be caused by LetsPlayNetball's negligence. LetsPlayNetball advises all participants to take out their own personal liability insurance. LetsPlayNetball does not accept any responsibility for events which are outside of our direct control.

5. Booking and Confirmation

Responsibility of accurate bookings and payments lies with the person making the booking. There is a first come first serve protocol. Once all places have been filled there will be a waiting list, and in the event that a place becomes available, Lets play netball will contact you via email. A confirmation email will be sent once Lets Play Netball has received the booking form and full payment.

6. Refund Policy

 

6.1  When you cancel a Course booked with us, you have cancelled the contract between Lets Play Netball LTD and you the customer. All cancellation request must be submitted in writing either via email at info@letsplaynetball.co.uk or write to Lets Play Netball LTD, PO BOX 1193, BROMLEY, BR1 9YE. All requests are registered on the date of receipt by the Lets Play Netball LTD Office.

6.2 If cancellation occurs within the seven day cooling off period, if the course has not reached the commencement date during the cooling off period we will refund the price of the course in full. If the commencement date of the course has passed or your child has attended any part of it during the seven day period, you will not be entitled to a refund for cancellation.

 

6.3 When you cancel a Course booked with us after the cooling off period has expired;

(a)  If this is done any time after the Booking Confirmation is sent and 14 days before the first date of the Course detailed in the Booking Confirmation, we will refund the price of the Course in full; or

(b)  If this is done at any time between the date 14 days before the first day of the course detailed in the Booking Confirmation and before the Course begins, we will refund 50% of the price of the Course to you;

6.3  We will usually refund any money received from you using the same method originally used by you to pay for your booking.

6.4 Early Bird cancellations are subject to our standard terms and conditions of bookings. Amendments of the days attending are permitted, however will be charged at the non-discounted rate per day.


7. Personal Property
All participated are expected to take responsibility for their respective personal property. During the netball camps, jewellery and other similar items must not be worn and the participant will not be permitted to take part in the activity until it is removed.

8. Meals and Snacks
Participants are advised to bring their own meals, snacks and water-based drinks and no hot drinks are allowed. There may be a small tuck shop with bottled water and a limited range of snacks available for purchase.


9. Programme Changes
Refunds will be provided in the unlikely event of a course being cancelled.

Netball Academy sessions proposed training dates and locations may change. Any alterations to be proposed schedule will be confirmed by email and will be updated on the website. Any changes in the Netball Academy program is not eligible for a refund.

Netball camp session proposed age groupings and structure of the course may change. Any changes in the structure of Netball Camp proposed program is not eligible for a refund.

10. First Aid
There will always be at least one Certified Appointed First Aider at each camp/academy. In the event of an accident, first aid will be administered to participants in our care and if necessary, the emergency services will be called. No medication can be administered by Lets Play Netball personnel.

 
11. Adverse Weather
In the event of severe weather conditions, a theory technique programme will be provided/delivered.

12. Photography
Lets Play Netball will take photographs of participants during course activities. These images may be used for publicity purposes in an image on video, on our website, or in printed publications. If a participant has strong views about not having their image publicised, they will need to make this clear at the outset.


13. Data Protection
We may use your details to contact you with future information. Please advise Lets Play Netball if you do not wish to be included in our mailing list.

 

14. Communication

All communication to Lets Play Netball must be received in writing either via post at Lets Play Netball LTD, PO BOX 1193, BROMLEY, BR1 9YE or via email at info@letsplaynetball.co.uk

15. Behaviour

LPN would like to remind all users of our service that we aim to provide a professional and courteous service.    To ensure that our programmes are delivered within a safe, secure, and respectful environment for everyone, LPN will not tolerate unacceptable behaviors of any nature from any service user (Parents/Young People). Non compliance with these standards  is treated as a serious matter, which could result in a Young Person been refused admission on LPN Training Programmes.

16. Covid

All participants should be regularly taking Later Flow tests and we advise parents to look out for Covid Symptoms.

If a participant is experiencing Covid Symptoms please do the following;

1. Remain at home and self-isolate.

2. Take a Lateral Flow Test

3. 

a. If you receive a positive PCR test you must NHS test and trace and follow the isolation guidance.

b. If you receive a negative PCR test and have symptoms please call 111 for medical advice.

 

16. Colds and Flu

All participants should receive medical clearance before attending the sessions from GP's or 111. The coaches team are not able to provide medical assessments of participants.
